S.P.E.P Acquisition Corporation, d.b.a. Sierra Pacific Engineering & Products (SPEP) is a privately held California Corporation. Our corporate headquarters is located in Rancho Dominguez, CA and operates two other facilities/divisions in the areas of Dallas, TX and Chicago, IL.

SPEP was established in 1986 as a supplier of industrial hardware products. Today, SPEP provides a full range of hardware items such as handles, pulls, latches, and locks to a diverse cross section of industries.

In addition to the hardware items found in the company's catalog, SPEP specializes in developing custom hardware items to meet the specific needs of its diverse customer base. Our engineering and design department utilizes the latest CAD and FEA software and prototyping technology in the development of custom items and the enhancement of existing products. SPEP has been awarded several patents for our innovative design work and has been featured in multiple periodicals for our cutting edge technology.

We pride ourselves in not only providing quality products, but also outstanding service to our customers. In fact, SPEP has received many awards and accolades in recognition of this dedication to meeting the needs and expectations of the customer.

In 1998, SPEP implemented Oracle's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Applications in order to more effectively manage virtually every aspect of the business, including but not limited to: Customer Orders, Production, MRP/Inventory, Pricing, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, and financial reporting.

Additionally, SPEP became ISO 9001 certified on January 10, 2001. SPEP is dedicated and committed to implementing standardized processes to increase quality and efficiencies throughout the company.

Innovation
Our engineering team is constantly developing new products to lead the industry, with cost reduction and product improvement being perpetual goals. The team also tweaks current designs to make them even more effective. In addition to the items found in our catalog, we supply custom hardware to many of our customers. Our CAD, FEA and Fused deposition modeling (FDM) machine are some of the tools we use to overcome many of the obstacles encountered when developing a new product from concept to production.
